Paint + Sip
Join artist Kirstin Lamb to paint watercolor flowers from still life flowers while enjoying beverages. This will be an opportunity to learn from and meet other art lovers! All materials and refreshments will be provided.
Gridded Watercolors
Take your watercolor painting and transform it into a pixelated image with artist Kirstin Lamb. Kirstin will walk you through the process of making your painting look digitized or like a needlepoint using a transparent grid. We will work with watercolor paints and pencils on 8.5x11 paper. Please bring any acrylic paint you have.
Gallery Opening
Join us for the opening reception for Kirstin Lamb’s show. Kirstin’s colorful paintings combine needlepoint-inspired florals, doodles, and vintage wallpaper in a modern aesthetic. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Kirstin is a painter living in Providence, Rhode Island and working in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with an MFA in 2005, and she received her AB in Visual Art and Literatures in English from Brown University in 2001. Kirstin’s work is represented by Gallery NAGA in Boston.
